BLASST OFF!!

For our rocket launch today the rockets blasted off but did not go very high, as they spun around in random directions,The wind was very high today.

The launch went really well, the rockets did not fail to launch and there were no issues with the equipment.

What I noticed is that all the rockets did not fly straight up. This could be due to the angle of the launcher not being perfectly straight. I also think the wings played a role in how the rocket moved through the air. I think I could improve this by changing the wings and making sure they are more solid and aligned correctly.

My next steps are to work on my wing designs to make it more stable. I will probably use youtube to do a bit of research on what makes a good rocket.

DLO: Waikato war

Today I was learning about history of Aotearoa there was alot facts
heres one fact Did you know that William Hobson was the one that found and also named Auckland.

To be honest I found this task very interesting and fun I didnt really need to research because Mr walker already had a video for us about history from youtube called the Aotearoa history show Tiriti o Waitangi the people that were talking thru the video was very smart and knew alot .

what i needed to work on was to listen to the video properly and take notes. but through out all of my work nothing was challenging it was fun.

Newtons Third Law

Q. How does a rocket move?
A. A rocket move by a gas that turns into heat, which causes the rocket to push up into the air.
Q. What is Newtons Third Law?
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.  Imagine a person standing on a skateboard. Imagine that person throwing a bowling ball. The ball will go forward. The person on the skateboard will move, too. The person will move backward. Because the person is heavier, the bowling ball will move farther.
